Fox News Channel’s Kirsten Powers took on President Barack Obama’s administration on Monday for unilaterally delaying key aspects of the Affordable Care Act. She said that some of the president’s supporters who are insisting that Obama should have flexibility while implementing the law are advocating for behavior that does not “comport with the Constitution.” Powers added that she believes the president should have delayed the implementation of the ACA for everyone rather than a series of distinct groups.
“It’s a fair thing to say that there need to be some flexibility, but it does need to be legal and comport with the Constitution,” Powers observed. “It’s the same kind of argument that can be made when the president has a kill list, you know, and decides that he’s going to unilaterally kill people.”

“Then people say, ‘Well, he need to be able to do that,’” she continued. “That’s a nice opinion, but it doesn’t really comport with the Constitution or the laws of this country.”
“He’s sort of picking and choosing,” Powers concluded. “I had said originally, and I support Obamacare, he should have delayed everybody.”
